This website documents the history and technical details of this Half Janus shunter manufactured at Yorkshire Engine Company, Meadowhall, Sheffield in 1961 and delivered to United Steel Company in 1962.

1382 is currently resident at Northampton Ironstone Railway Trust (NIRT),Hunsbury Hill, Northampton and is fully operational.
Now sold 1382 will soon move to The Caledonian Railway in Scotland.
